Flying Solo

On Saturday I was afforded the very rare luxury of an entire morning to myself. Instead of the usual Saturday morning rituals I picked up my camera and headed out to Tierlantynkies market to see what was on offer. I fell in love with every second thing on display - handmade soy candles, nostalgic toys, silver jewellery, hand-painted ceramics. I took my time browsing, and then started all over again just to be sure I hadn't missed out on anything.

These were a few of my favourite things...

By 11:30 the place was packed and I was dying to read my new book over a cappuccino and a slice of lemon cheesecake. I headed here for lunch and was lucky enough to grab the last open table. If homemade food in an overgrown garden with the warm sun at your back is your thing, then a morning here is balm for the soul.

A morning of photos, a new book and a handful of happies bought at the market.

Small things. Simple pleasures.

Happy Tuesday.
